Every wardrobe has a few pieces of clothing that never see the light of day due to our whims and fancies and are eventually dumped. We are perpetually running after a new trend on the fashion scene.

There are various big and small textile units that end up with a vast amount of fabric waste due to rejects, misprint etc.

Creativity is a phenomenon of spinning imaginative and new ideas into existence. It is how you perceive the same world with different eyes. This is how Kriti Tula, envisioned a silver lining and transformed the waste into a chic fashion brand “Doodlage”. Each garment is up-cycled and unique. Their collection screams fun while keeping the Doodlage “USP” of sustainable fashion intact.

The range includes vertical pinstriped skirts, oversized boyfriend shirts, bomber jackets, playsuits crafted from patchwork fabric.

My look revolved around the “Chand Patchwork Blazer” which was teamed up with a blouse and a mini denim skirt. Minimal accessories and a pair of grey heels completed the look.

It’s great to see how the fashion world is slowly and steadily progressing towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.

Until next time.

Love, Nat
