A Sari evokes fascination & awe. It takes birth on a weaver’s loom & comes in the most mesmerizing varieties & mind boggling hues.
Why is it that we limit the sari only for weddings, festivals & functions. It is high time it is taken out from its tissue wrapping & worn in day to day life. There is no limit to the ways it can be styled to give comfort to the wearer, be it a young girl or a woman in her silver years. The possibilities are endless.
I was thrilled to be a part of Ekaya’s Sari not sorry story. Ekaya symbolizes a timeless love of sarees combined with unique craftsmanship. Each exquisite hand woven wonder is seeped in the rich textile heritage of Banaras. The vibrant colour combinations are a visual treat.
In the first look, I paired this stunning banarasi saree with a plain white shirt and a silver statement neckpiece. This look can easily be carried off with or without the neckpiece.
In the second look, I paired the saree with a glitter top, a blazer and silver matha Pati. And it was definitely a saree not sorry moment! I for one will be adding more sarees to my wardrobe.
