Somehow a wellness holiday had never featured in my scheme of things. Rather I had never given it a thought. Getting an email from Your travel Secretary about a curated experience of wellness travel which they call, “Yoga Experiential Holiday” got me super excited. It was in Jaipur and the property chosen for the retreat was The Khas Bagh, a luxury heritage home. Friday to Sunday, perfect time to be away from the madness that is Mumbai!
Icebreaker session where the group gets to know each other. Visiting the Amer Fort and sightseeing was amazing. Learning about different forms of yoga, interactive sessions and fun getting to meet new people. Yogi Today provided trained yoga personnel and they literally gave personal training lessons to each and everyone in the group.
Getting up early on a vacation was a first for me. But the sessions amidst nature, surrounded by lush green trees, and the cute chirping of birds in the amazing weather made the whole experience divine. The serene calm fills you up with great vigor. Doing yoga in a beautiful natural environment adds an altogether different dimension. I especially loved the dancing yoga where your body and mind move in perfect rhythm.
I had an amazing time and would definitely want all of you to experience it. If in case you guys are planning a trip with your family or friends, I would personally recommend getting in touch with Your Travel Secretary, they literally made this trip so memorable.
Guess what! I also made a special friend in the cute and lovely Coco, the charming resident of Khas Bagh. There is something magical about horses and Coco let me ride him. My first equestrian encounter!
